The food is excellent. I love their cardiniale lobster cream sauce that they serve with a number of their dishes. Two thumbs up for the Pasta Mammas! I would highly recommend making a reservation as they place gets very busy on the weekends and in the evening.

Filomena's is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in DC. The pasta is handmade there and you can watch while you're waiting. I recommend it to anyone who has never been there, but make reservations in advance. The wait can easily be two hours on the weekend and worse for holidays. Also, no parking since its in Georgetown, but I promise its worth it. Its an upscale place, though the decor can be a little much when decorated for holidays, where you might see a prominent politician or celebrity.
