Sushi Taro

Sushi Taro is my favorite sushi joint in DC. The last visit there, I went with a group of 4 and we got a booth in the back. The lines are long as usual but you can give them your phone number and will call you when the table is ready. Located in Dupont Circle, it is a good location although parking can be hard to find during the dinner rush. Our group ordered a mix of sushi a la carte. Our hungry group made the mistake of ordering the Fatty Toro tuna with the M.P. (Market Price) and the bill ended being pretty steep. However, the Toro was excellent. They also have some delicious appetizers such as the steamed egg and the grilled octopus. The yakitori there is good and there doesn't seem to be many in the DC area that offer yakitori at the same caliber. Will definitely go again.
