K Family Kitchen

K Family is always friendly, the staff is very attentive and helpful.

They serve the absolute best eggs Benedict in the known universe. Add a steak to it and you've got the Benny, my favourite K Family dish!

We went there with our in-laws as it is their regular breakfast hangout. Everyone else had sunny-side up eggs and bacon or home fries with toast. It appeared edible, at least all the homies were wolfing theirs down without complaint. There was a long line-up (we waited about 10 minutes), although there were tons of empty tables ready for people to be seated. Our waitress was pleasant enough, but it took close to 45 minutes for our food to come from the time we placed our order. My hash browns were the frozen ones browned up in old french fry grease. The omelet was a bunch of fried mushrooms inside a folded-over unseasoned egg crepe. The cheese was a slice of processed cheese thrown on top of the omelet as it left the kitchen in the hopes that the heat from the dish would melt the cheese by the time it reached the table. It didn't -- it was the most unappetizing food I've seen in a long time.
